There is nothing better than the feeling of Spring in the air. Ohio showed up with warm weather for my birthday weekend celebrations and I couldn’t have been happier. (No joke, Sunday night was a crazy rain storm! Ohio’s weather is so unpredictable so you can see why I was excited for some nice weather.) With my mother in town for a visit, we decided to take advantage of the beautiful day and spoil ourselves with great food and wine.
Luckily for me, my mom was open to trying something new. I have been eyeing this new restaurant and was sucked in by its beautifully decorated atmosphere and large inviting patio. Not to mention the menu options sounded divine! If you don’t know this about me, I am a HUGE foodie. I love trying new things and expanding my palate with new flavors. I am most comfortable being outside of my comfort zone.
Outfit Details
For my birthday, my mom bought me a beautiful floral dress and a coordinating mustard jacket.
The feel of the dress is amazing! Not to mention the detail of the buttons and the skirt slit really took this maxi dress to a different level.
I am wearing my usual Vici hat. It is the one that has the adjustable tie to tighten or loosen the fit. If you follow my IG you know how important that is to me when purchasing hats because I have a small head. Most hats don’t fit me. Who else wears child size hats? Just me? Ha. Check out my other post wearing another Vici hat that is also perfect for any size melon.
The sun was out shining but the wind was picking up, so this felt like a great choice in hats. It stayed on the entire time we were outside sipping our wine and chatting until the sun went down.
My shoes are from Target. They were very comfortable and super easy to walk in. I try to stick to chunky heels for that reason.
Let the Birthday Celebrations Begin…
The moment I walked into Restoration Hardware, a waitress walked by and said she loved my entire look/outfit. My mom’s gift was a hit and I was feeling it too. This outfit gave me all the Spring feels I have been craving after the grey and gloomy weather of Ohio’s Winter.
We ate some of the most amazing food that you will see listed below. I could have ate seconds because it was so yummy if I wasn’t full and satisfied! Service here was wonderful and quick. Did I mention we had wine yet? -Ha
My mom drank their bubbly rose which tasted like a sweet champagne while I enjoyed a California Pinot Noir…or two. The flavors were smooth and very enjoyable.
You Don’t Want to Miss it…
If you haven’t spotted it yet, another one of my birthday gifts was brought along on this blissful day and it’s my new Vici purse! It is a burlap clutch that is embellished with coined medallions and beading that make this irresistible. A must have, if you ask me. It comes with a crossbody strap and is the perfect size to carry everything you need. Also, it is lined on the inside with a small zip pocket. This gem even has faux leather tassels to top off this boho masterpiece. Let’s just say this purse spoke to me and I am so thankful for a boyfriend who would buy me such a stunning gift.

The day wrapped up with heading home and changing into our comfy clothes and just enjoying a mother daughter evening in. Yes, we did open another bottle of wine -ha. What’s catching up and chatting without wine and cheese?
If you are in the Columbus area or live where there is a Restoration Hardware Restaurant, I would absolutely recommend you visit and give it a try. It is on the higher end of the budget, with the lowest plate being around $17-$18 and same with the wine. Still totally worth it for a splurge or special occasion. If you’re not feeling the menu, just grab a drink at the bar and have a seat out of their patio and enjoy the space.
