Jumping on the Bike Short Trend…
Everywhere you look, on Pinterest or Instagram, bike shorts are popping up! So I have decided to purchase my first pair from Aerie and see how many different ways I could style bike shorts.

Top 5 Bike Short Styles:
Camo Jacket:
This look is so simple! I originally got my camo jacket from Forever 21 but I couldn’t find it on their site anymore. I linked a similar one from amazon and one of my favorite boutiques below. The boots are from Marshalls and are so comfortable. They are ankle height with two side buckles that really add to the detail of them. I added links that are similar boots from marshalls below along with a VERY similar top from amazon. I went with cropped because the bike shorts are so high-waisted. Feel free to throw on a loose white tank and front tuck for a more covered look.
Flannels:
Another Alternative way to style these shorts is easy! Change out the Camo jacket for a flannel. For an added edgy look, swap out the combat boots for a patterned pair of booties. I chose these statement heels from Fashion Nova.
Simple and Modern:
This look is taking “casual” to a “night out” look in two seconds flat. The black on black look keeps it simple, sleek and sexy. While the shoes stand out and you stand tall. Accessorize with a pea coat and a cute clutch and you’re ready to go out in style.
Sleek and Sexy:
Bike shorts with business causal? Just add strappy heels and either a button-down blouse or a blazer jacket. Stylish, simple and put together. My blouse is cotton and comfy so it hangs nicely. I prefer only a partial front tuck and the rolled sleeves. You can even combine the looks by throwing the jacket over the blouse and letting the sleeves pop out from the jacket.
Oversized Style:
This is my favorite look with bike shorts. This oversized t-shirt from Urban Outfitters was too long for jeans and too short on its own. So paired with these shorts, its a perfect pair. Then just add over the knee-high boots.
