I have been eyeing this faux leather skirt from The Mint Julep Boutique for a bit of time now. So I had to grab it on their New Year sale. It was 75% off! Seriously, such a steal for the quality and look this skirt delivers.

Let’s Take a Look at How I Chose to Style this Faux Leather Skirt:
I am obsessing over this fringe sleeved sweater from Pink Lily Boutique. It’s cropped, oversized and paired with this skirt it’s a great look. I love the over-the-knee boots to help make this outfit a little more versatile for cooler weather.
This is a fun look, bringing in some patterned tights. I found them at Target and had to get them. Pairing them with this skirt and keeping the look clean with black accessories, shoes and a plain turtleneck keeps the look minimal and modern.
Here I changed the tights to a sheer black and kept the top and shoes the same. I like the look of ankle booties instead of the over-the-knee look with tights to show them off more. Though you could complete the look with either. I also changed the jackets here to show you how you can add pattern and texture.
You are Now Ready to Hit the Streets
I hope you enjoyed the looks I put together here. Such small changes can make a big impact on what you wear. Feel free to add a matching black purse, a stylish hat as I have in some of the photos and even a long simple necklace to matcha pair of earrings. I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my own weblog and was curious what all is required to get setup? I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny? I’m not very internet smart so I’m not 100 sure. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
